Before starting his company, Justin Head wrote and directed several films for other production houses. He made his feature film debut with South Africa's first horror-thriller, Night Drive, about the highly controversial issue of ‘muti' murders, a crime in which people's organs are removed – while they're still alive – for witchcraft rituals.

Produced by The Film Factory

Tourists stranded during a night drive safari in a game reserve, are systematically hunted by a gang of   heavily-armed animal poachers who now also harvest human body parts for witchdoctors and the black market.

“The violence is real, it's gruesome, and it's brutal. But before you run for the hills, you must understand that there is a definite authenticity in the film which has its roots in the grim reality of poaching and the illicit trade of body parts in South Africa.”

Johannesburg Live
